Installation Insctuctions for MCR Event Time Basic

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DEMONSTRATION VERSION OF MCR EVENT TIME

Here's what each operating system needs to have installed, from Microsoft:

Windows 2000:
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
Microsoft .NET Frameworks 2.0
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)
MDAC version 2.6 (or later), Microsoft Data Access Components.

Windows XP:
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
Microsoft .NET Frameworks 2.0
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

Windows Vista - 32 and 64 bit:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

Windows 7 Release Candidate:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

Once those are installed the user must create this directory structure:
C:\Program Files\Masterclock\MCR Event Time Basic\

Then the zip file can be downloaded to that folder and unzipped in it.
The contents of that folder should then be this:

Common Data (folder)
Help (folder)
Schedules (folder)
MCR Event Time Basic.exe (the application's executable)
MCR.mdb (hidden database structure)

Then the user runs the application by double-clicking on MCR Event Time Basic.exe
