Masterclock Exhibiting at PTTI 2016

Masterclock, Inc. will be exhibiting at the 2016 PTTI meeting in Monterey, California, January 25-28, 2016. The Precise Time and Time Interval Systems and Applications (PTTI) meeting is an annual conference sponsored by ION with a technical program designed to disseminate and coordinate PTTI information at the user level, review present and future PTTI requirements, inform government and industry engineers, technicians, and managers of precise time and frequency technology and its problems, and provide an opportunity for an active exchange of new technology associated with PTTI.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) Simplifies Timing System Installation

Power‐over‐Ethernet (PoE) extends the versatility for system designers and companies. No longer will one have to locate access points within the typical six foot electrical cord reach of an AC outlet or look for convenient locations to install new outlets at points where it is suitable to run conduit and mount outlet boxes.

IRIG-B Time Code Generators

The IRIG-B time code protocol is used in military, government, power industry, and many other commercial and industrial application to ensure precise time synchronization. Time information is pulse-width coded in either a BCD or binary format.  Masterclock manufactures several devices that can generate IRIG-B time code.

The Network Time Protocol (NTP) Advantage

Network Time Protocol (NTP) is widely used in LANs and WANs to synchronize computer clocks to national standard time. NTP sets up a reference server within the network to 'serve' accurate time to all NTP clients in the network requesting accurate time.

Masterclock, Inc. provides full NTP system solutions including NTP timeservers and NTP clocks.
